Reflecting on a Milestone Year at The Square Tallaght

As 2025 draws to a close, we’re proud to reflect on a year of meaningful progress —defined by strong leasing activity, continued investment and a deepened connection with the local community.

New Store Openings & Retail Experience Enhancements

JD Sports Expansion
We’re delighted to announce that JD Sports is significantly upsizing its presence, committing to a new flagship-style store more than double the size of its existing unit. This expansion represents a strong vote of confidence in the centre’s performance and will deliver an enhanced retail experience for customers.

New Retail Openings
Throughout 2025, we were pleased to welcome several new retailers to the centre, including Hugmie Toys, Card Factory & Horans, further strengthening the diversity of our retail and value-led offering. The arrival of Rituals, the luxury beauty and lifestyle brand, added depth to the centre’s wellness and lifestyle mix, enhancing the overall customer experience. We were also delighted to welcome back Best Menswear, a well-loved independent Irish retailer, reinforcing The Square’s strong fashion credentials and local ties. In addition, a new lease was agreed with Art of Coffee, further enhancing the centre’s food and beverage offer and creating another destination for customers to enjoy.

Seasonal & Experiential Activation
We successfully secured the Ice Rink contract for the centre, delivering a popular seasonal attraction that increased footfall and added to the overall visitor experience.

Investment & Operational Enhancements
Significant capital investment took place across the centre in 2025 including the replacement of the Level 1 – Level 2 travellator & the rollout of new wayfinding graphics, all aimed at improving safety, accessibility, and ease of navigation.

Celebrating Community & Legacy
2025 marked a major milestone as The Square Tallaght celebrated 35 years at the heart of the community. Continued investment and evolution ensure the centre remains a vibrant, sustainable, and relevant destination for years to come.

The progress achieved in 2025 reflects a clear focus on thoughtful tenant mix, proactive asset management, and delivering engaging retail and leisure experiences. As we look ahead to 2026, we remain committed to further enhancements, welcoming new brands, and supporting the community that makes The Square Tallaght such a dynamic place to shop and visit.
