New Bug Hotel in Harbour Place Shopping Centre, Mullingar

Many thanks to the wonderful students of St Brigid’s School who did an amazing job of building the brand new Bug Hotel in Harbour Place Shopping Centre in Mullingar.

Beneficial insects support biodiversity and encouraging biodiversity helps to increase ecosystem productivity. The Harbour Place Bug Hotel will attract many beneficial creatures offering them a space to propagate and give them shelter for the winter, with friendly insect families such as butterflies, beetles, green lacewings, whiteflies, mole crickets and cabbage worms to name a few.

So come down for a visit and take a look, the Bug Hotel is officially open for business and no reservations required!
